This project aimed to completely redevelop 10 acres of downtown Scottsdale across seperate 5 blocks. The project encompassed a hotel, rental and for-sale residential towers, an office building, and a public market. The project also featured extensive below-grade parking and pedestrian integration with the banks of the Scottsdale canal extending the existing urban green space three additional blocks.
The goal was to revitalize an underutilized area of downtown by creating a diverse and upscale living experience that integrates live, work, and play activities to inspire a true balenced urban living experience.
Each building was individually and iconically designed for it's specific function and to promote diversity in the urban fabric. Pedestrian traffic was a key design driver with each building providing enlarged shaded sidewalks with improved retail visibility.
Services included master planning, conceptual design, and entitlements.
The project involved extensive outreach to the city and the public over two years.
